v2.5 (May 13th, 2025)

This version brings two changes that look quite small but are quite big internally.  The first is support for multiple languages.  We're starting with Spanish first, whilst we figure out the kinks of supporting multiple languages, but the framework supports any language.

The second big change is the introduction of our FreeMove S&C program.  This is a brand new program focused around mobility that uses very little equipment; designed for those who permanently don't access a gym (as opposed to our 'bodyweight' phase in the main Strength program which is just for when you're away from your gym for a week or two).

Added ability to log feedback in-app. This brings back, but improves-on, what we had in the old app. You can report bugs, submit ideas, and with each you can include screenshots.  You can also see all bugs and ideas, see what status they have - ie have they been fixed / open / being-worked-on - and indicate if something applies to you (bug) or if you want it (feature).

v2.4 also brings a space for a user Profile (see Settings) where you can indicate information about yourself (gender, age, etc) that we can use to make adjusted S&C plans going forward, as well as indicate whether you feel represented (which we use, in an aggregated way, to get a sense of how we're doing / where there is room to improve).

This version also brings improved onboarding screens for new users, and improved messaging around why access has been denied when user tries to access content they don't have access to.

Addressed a bug in our Logging code that was causing the app to crash in some (still as yet unidentified) edge cases. Didn't technically 'fix' it, so much as make the app resilient to the error type, and start to log cases where it occurs so I can look into what's the underlying cause of it (seems highly likely to be a few edge cases in our DB somewhere.

Fixes a bug that was preventing some screens in the app from functioning correctly on very wide screens (like Pixel 7 on max resolution).

v2 is released. It brings a new look-and-feel to the app.  The biggest bug-fix is that you now have control of what week you're in. Swipe away to your hearts content :)

January 2025: App Not Available (temporary)

old version (v1.7) is no longer available to download in the stores. If you have already downloaded the old version, it will continue to work.

new version (v2) is not yet available to download in the stores. It will become available in the coming weeks.

Prevents a fatal-crash where user changed units mid-workout.

[December 8th, 2021]  v1.6.2 & v1.6.1 -- Hot-Fixes to prevent 2x Fatal crashes

These hot-fixes correct an error we introduced in v1.6 as part of our migration of our database. It should prevent the app from doing weird fatal crashes when user is logging in, or changing preferences. It adds no new features.

[December 4th, 2021]  v1.6.0 -- move to a new way to pass your preferences to the app

We've added a local DB, and shifted a small part of the app (Preferences) to using that local DB and so working offline.
